Gators Post Eight Personal-Best Marks on Day One of Auburn Invitational

AUBURN, Ala. – The University of Florida women's swimming team was in action Friday at the James E. Martin Aquatic Center for the Auburn Invitational. Nikki Miller tallied a second-place finish to pace the Gators on day one of the invitational.
Miller recorded a personal-best time of 4:47.02 and placed second in the 500 Free final. Jillian Hatch took third place with a new personal-best swim of 4:48.78. Kahra Williams finished fourth with a mark of 4:54.05. Bettina Boszormenyi took sixth, while Kalie Novosedliak finished in 13th.
In the 200 IM final, Adrianna DeBoer clocked a career-best mark of 2:03.37 and finished in third. Madison Conway added a personal-best time of 2:04.38 and placed sixth. Jessica Rodriguez collected a personal-best swim of 2:05.09 and placed eighth. Ellie Zweifel finished in ninth and Ellie Hatton placed 11th. Yekaterina Aslanidi notched a personal-best mark of 2:11.68 and placed 16th.
Kelsey Dambacher placed third in the 50 Free finals with a time of 22.88, just two one-hundredths of a second off of her season best of 22.86. Kirschtine Balbuena collected a personal-best swim of 23.08 and finished in fifth. Gabby Hillis posted a personal-best time of 22.89 in the prelims, before she swam a 23.13 and placed sixth.
The Auburn Invitational continues Saturday at 10:30 a.m. ET with the 400 IM.
