Gators Return to Trinity Forest to Defend Title

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Gators men's golf team heads to Dallas, Texas to defend their 2017 title at the Trinity Forest Invitational, hosted by Southern Methodist University. The field for this year's event will include 13 teams.

The Gators won the event last year by 10 strokes and are looking to rebound off a less than perfect performance two weeks ago at the Carpet Capital Intercollegiate, hosted by Georgie Tech. Senior Gordon Neale placed second at the event last year, carding a seven-under-par 206.

Course Information: The tournament is being played at the Par 71, 7,302 yards at Trinity Forest Golf Club in Dallas, Texas.

Format: 54-hole stroke play where teams will play three rounds over three days. The first 18-holes will be played on Sunday with the first team time scheduled for 12 p.m.
