Gators Conclude Play At Southern Intercollegiate Championships

The University of Florida men's tennis team concluded action at the Southern Intercollegiate Championships in Athens, Ga., on Saturday.
Florida's pair of freshmen, Andrew Butz (Vero Beach, Fla.) and Michael Alford (Tampa, Fla.), each fell in second-round singles action. The duo also came up short in the doubles Round of 16, where they were downed, 8-4, by Alabama's Michael Thompson and Ian Chadwell.
