TULSA, Okla. – In their first outing as doubles partners for the Fall 2025 season, Henry Jefferson and Tanapatt Nirundorn made their way all the way into the semifinals of the ITA All-American Championships.
The duo came into the tournament as the No. 33 preseason ranked doubles team in the country. This earned them an automatic bid for the qualifier round of the tournament, however, due to another team withdrawing from the main draw, Jefferson and Nirundorn were able to take their place. In the main draw, the pair defeated No. 9 Bruno Nhavene/Oscar Lacides of Oklahoma, Auburn's No. 20 Billy Blaydes/Freddy Blaydes and No. 39 Lucas Brown/Sebastian Gorzny from Texas. In the semifinals, Jefferson and Nirundorn were matched up against Mississippi State's Benito Sanchez Martinez and Petar Jovanovic who were ranked preseason No. 1. The Gators ultimately lost the match in two sets, ending their run in the doubles tournament.
Jefferson and Nirundorn were not the only Gators to play in the main draw for ITA All-American Championships. Junior Jeremy Jin, who was ranked preseason No. 45, competed in the singles portion of the draw with Jefferson, who had worked his way into the main draw all the way from qualifiers.
Unfortunately, both Gators lost in their opening matches of the singles tournament, sending them into the consolation bracket. Jefferson also lost in the first match of the consolation round to No. 123 Jakub Vrba of Akransas, putting his long run in the singles division to an end. Jin continued to face off against No. 95 Mario Martinez Serrano of Mississippi State and Stanford's No. 41 Alex Chang before being defeated by No. 28 Jack Loutit of Kentucky.
