
Florida Finishes Opening Round of Marquette Intercollegiate

Three golfers made their UF debuts this afternoon at Erin Hills as true freshman Parker Severs is T10 through the opening round.
HARTFORD, Wis. – The No. 10 Florida men's golf team completed the opening round of the Marquette Intercollegiate on Sunday and are in 12th with three in the top-17 led by freshman Parker Severs in T10.
Three golfers made their UF debuts, including freshmen Severs (+5) and Trevor Gutschewski (T38, +7) making their collegiate debuts. A native of Lakewood Ranch, Fla., Severs closed strong with birdies in two of the last three holes with his last on hole nine, one of two total on the day at the hole location.
Today's low score in the lineup was by junior Jack Turner with a 77 (+5) as he is tied for 17th along with transfer Noah Kent, who made his first appearance as a Gator.
Parker Bell is also tied with Gutschewski as Luke Poulter (T61, +10) and Matthew Kress (T70, +11) round out the Gator lineup.
