Saturday, October 4, 2025 | Volleyball
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Backed by a crowd of 6,089 fans and a historic performance from Alexis Stucky, the No. 23 Florida volleyball team handed Auburn its first conference loss of the season, defeating the Tigers in four sets (25-18, 17-25, 25-18, 27-25) Friday night at the O'Dome.
Stucky engineered the Gator offense with 42 assists while adding a career-best 10 kills on a .615 clip. She also chipped in 12 digs to the program's third player to record a triple-double, joining all-time greats Kelly Murphy (2008-11) and Angie McGinnis (2004-07).

Hear from Head Coach Ryan Theis:
"I really liked the way we battled tonight. Siding out is not easy and is something we can struggle with. Above 65%, that's a good side-out percentage number, so sets three and four to go 78% and 72% is a real testament to the group… Stucky played great as well, triple-double is huge… Every game has been a battle no matter what. There are not going to be a lot of 3-0's on our schedule with this league being so hard that's for sure."
On what's being working well the last two wins…
"The ability to side out and score points. Our attackers scored a ton tonight, and again, testament to Stucky as well as our little for great first touches."
Setter Alexis Stucky on her triple-double…
"We passed so well tonight and shout out to our littles for chucking up one or two for me to hit at…. Gator Nation was so great today and we definitely felt their presence, especially at end game."
