PALO ALTO, Calif. – The Florida Gators men's golf team was led by sophomore Chris Nido in the second round of The Goodwin as they jumped up five spots on the leaderboard to sixth.

After a 10-over round yesterday, the Gators improved to just four-over in their second round today. They were paced by Nido, who finished the round currently T3 after carding a two-under 68 on the day, which puts him at two-under for the tournament.

Senior Gordon Neale slipped four spots but remains in the top 20 at T15. Neale and Nido both had five birdies each but a few extra bogeys had Neale card a one-over 71 for a six spot slip. Junior Blake Dyer had a great day on the links, shooting up 36 spots on the board and improving from his nine-over round yesterday to just one-over today.

The Gators sit in 6th out of 27 teams and are ready for the final round, beginning at 10:30 a.m. ET.
