
Gators Open NCAA Championships with Program Top-10 Time

AUSTIN, Texas – The University of Florida women's swimming & diving team opened the 2019 NCAA Championships at the Lee & Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center on Wednesday night. The Gators 800 Free Relay team recorded the seventh-fastest time in program history.
The squad of Kelsey Dambacher, Kelly Fertel, Tori Bindi, and Georgia Marris placed 17th with a combined effort of 7:00.97 in the 800 Free Relay finals. The Florida team posted the fastest time this season and the seventh-best time in UF history.
The Gators return to action on Thursday morning at 10 a.m. ET / 9 a.m. CT. The prelims begin with the 200 Free Relay.
