AUBURN, Ala. –The University of Florida women's diving team was back in action at the James E. Martin Aquatic Center on Tuesday for day two at the Auburn Diving Invitational. Emma Whitner recorded another personal-best mark and led the Gators on the 1-meter.
After she collected 253.30 points in the prelims, Whitner notched a personal-best score of 271.25 in the finals. She placed fourth in the finals with her personal-best effort.
Elizabeth Perez tallied a score of 257.85 in the prelims. In the finals, she posted a mark of 265.40. Her effort in the finals earned her a fifth-place finish.
Teya Syskakis finished the finals in seventh place, after a season-best score of 253.45. She improved on her prelim score of 240.90.
Abigail Howell notched 237.00 points in the prelims. She finished the finals with a combined score of 231.80 and placed ninth.
After a prelim mark of 226.10, Lauren Snider finished 10th in the finals with a score of 222.45.
In the prelims, Boni Trinter posted a score of 184.55. She improved on the mark with 192.05 points in the finals and placed 12th.
