Q: Now that you're an upperclassman and the team has been together for a few years, how do you think the team has grown?
I think that this team has grown together as one since the first day we all got here. Not knowing anyone on this team prior to arriving here three years ago was scary, but I think it ended up being the best thing that could have happened. Everyone's personality on this team is very outgoing and welcoming, which is what makes us so unique and special. I love how we have all come together and become a family.
Q: What are your personal goals for the season? What do you see as the team's goals?
My personal goal for this season is to be the best player I can possibly be for my team and working hard for them each and every day. I would say our team goals for this season are continuing to take it one game at a time and strive for greatness, and of course to WIN a national championship.
Q: What is your favorite thing about being a Florida Lacrosse player?
What I love about being a Florida Lacrosse player is our fan base. We have the greatest fans out of all the teams for women's lacrosse. Their support is unbelievable and they know how to make us feel special each and every game.
Q: What are some of your favorite non-lacrosse things to do in or around Gainesville?
I really enjoy going to the movies, it is always one of my favorite things to do because I LOVE movies. I also just enjoy relaxing and hanging out with my teammates.
Q: What is your favorite memory with your teammates, on or off the field?
One of my favorite memories with my teammates is going out to practice with hairnets on and convincing our strength and conditioning coach that it was “National Hairnet Day.” I also loved the night we beat Northwestern because of the feeling we all shared that night and how we wanted it for one another.
Q: Tell us a little-known fact about you…
I can do different kinds of voices, and my main goal is to go to Hollywood after college to act and become famous.
Q: What's your favorite class that you've taken at UF, and why?
My favorite class I took at UF was public speaking. I liked it because I like talking in front of people and it was a very hands on class.
Q: What do you want to do after you graduate?
Star in movies.
Q: If you could take a trip anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Australia.
Q: What are your favorite tv shows?
-Breaking Bad
-Vampire Diaries
-Revenge
Q: Top 5 most-played artists on your iPod:
-Pink
-Goo Goo Dolls
-Rihanna
-The Fray
-Kayne West
Q: What has been the key to integrating the new players into this team that's been together since the beginning?
The key to integrating the new players this year was to have them feel comfortable with all of our personalities, which I think they came right in and adjusted fine. They are all without a doubt incredible lacrosse players and athletes and fit right in when they arrived here. Their hard work ethic has paid off and has allowed them all to achieve great things their first year here at Florida.
