Join the Gator Gymnastics team for the 4th annual Gators Link to Pink meet against the Louisiana State Tigers on Friday, Jan. 29. Meet time is set for 7 p.m. in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center. As part of a Southeastern Conference-wide initiative, the Gators and the Tigers will put aside their school colors and will wear leotards commemorating breast cancer awareness.
Fans are encouraged to join in on this special event by designing their own Link to Pink leotard. Designs must be in .jpeg format and emailed to KariH@gators.uaa.ufl.edu by Monday, Jan. 25. Your submission must include your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and age. The contest is open to everyone, except for high-school-aged students due to NCAA compliance rules. The top leotard designs will be featured on the GatorVision video boards at the meet for all fans to enjoy. For more information, call UAA Marketing at 800-34-GATOR ext. 6600.
Be sure to get to the meet early because the first 500 fans to arrive at the meet will receive a Gators Link to Pink Gymnastics poster and the first 1,000 fans will receive a Link to Pink t-shirt, courtesy of Sun Sports. In addition, stop by your local Gainesville Chick-Fil-A to pick up passes for free admission into the meet. For a complete list of promotions, click here.
