SEC Football On Sun Sports Kicks Off This Week

Southeastern Conference football on Sun Sports kicks off this week with the debut of SEC Gridiron LIVE presented by O'Charley's on Wednesday at 10 p.m. and the 2009 season premiere of SEC football game coverage on Saturday at 7 p.m., when the 2008 BCS Champion and preseason No. 1 Florida Gators host Charleston Southern.
The premiere of SEC Gridiron LIVE, hosted by Charles Davis with analysts Randy Cross and David Pollack and social media reporter Cassidy Hubbarth, offers previews of all 12 SEC football games, as well as features on Tennessee's Eric Berry, Georgia's Jeff Owens and Arkansas' DJ Williams. Pollack sits down for a one-on-one interview with Florida quarterback and 2007 Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow (Jacksonville, Fla.), and Mississippi State offensive tackle Derek Sherrod offers a 60-second scouting report on the Bulldogs. Throughout the show, fans will have the opportunity to interact and debate with each other and the team of in-studio experts via Twitter, Facebook and E-mail.
On Saturday at 7 p.m. ET, the Florida Gators host the Charleston Southern Buccaneers at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium at Florida Field in Gainesville on Sun Sports in high definition. Play-by-play announcer Bob Rathbun will be joined by analyst Dave Archer and sideline reporter Jenn Hildreth in the TV booth. The game will also replay on Sun Sports on Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. during the network's popular “Breakfast with the Gators” programming block and again on Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 11 p.m.
SEC football will be distributed to more than 24 million cable and satellite households on the FSN regional networks throughout the SEC territory – Sun Sports, FOX Sports South, FOX Sports Houston and FOX Sports Southwest.
