With the game less than 4 minutes old, the Wildcats grabbed their first double-digit lead at 14-4, but Florida went on a 12-2 run to close the gap, 22-19. Kentucky led by as many as 15 points in the first half. The Wildcats headed into the locker room with a 49-37 lead.

For the tournament, Roberson was 14-of-35 from three-point range, tying Mike Boynton (USC, 2004) and Travis Ford (UK, 1993). His 35 triples attempted break Boynton's day-old mark of 26.
