Women's Golf 11th After Day Two Of NCAA Regional

The University of Florida women's golf team is currently in 11th place after the second day of the NCAA Central Regional hosted by Purdue University at Kampen Course at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex on Friday. The Lady Gators shot a 311 on Friday to bring their tournament total to 623 (+47). Tulsa is leading the tournament after the second day of competition with a 15-over par 591.
Individually for the Lady Gators, freshman Amanda Dick (Clearwater, Fla./Countryside) had the team's best day, shooting a three-over par 75. Dick's two-day total is now 152 (+8), placing her in a 18th-place tie.
Following Dick was sophomore Sam Zausner White (Rockville, Md./The Bullis School). White shot a 78 on Friday to give her a two-day total of 164 (+20). She is currently tied for 85th overall. Sophomore Brittany Straza (Fort Myers, Fla./Lehigh) and red shirt freshman Joy Stephenson (Fort Myers, Fla./Fort Myers) each fired rounds of 79 on Friday. Straza's tournament total stands at 154 (+10) tying her for 32nd place, while Stephenson has a two-day total of 161 (+17) and is currently tied for 72nd. Sophomore Jeanne Cho (Boulogne, France/St. Stephen's Episcopal School) shot an eight-over par 80 on Friday, bringing her tournament total to 158 (+14). Cho is currently in a tie for 50th place.
Stacy Prammanasudh of Tulsa is the leading individual in the tournament after shooting a 72 on Friday for a two-day total of 142.
The tournament will conclude with Saturday's final round. The Lady Gators will tee off at 11:50 a.m. central time. The top eight teams from each of the three regionals will advance to the NCAA Championships May 23-26 in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla.
