Four Gators in Top-10 After Day One

Marina Escobar Domingo and Annabell Fuller led the way for the Florida women’s golf team after the first round at the East Lake Cup.
ATLANTA, Ga. – The Florida women's golf team concluded the first round of competition at the East Lake Cup in third place after recording a 4-over par score of 293, but placing four athletes in the top-10 individually.
Marina Escobar Domingo led all Gators after carding birdies on two of the last three holes to break under par. The sophomore posted a nearly flawless back nine, recording a birdie on the 10th hole to get back to an even scorecard before bogeying the 14th. However, the sophomore has shown her grit time and time again this fall season and carded two birdies to head to the clubhouse tied for third individually.
Addie Baggarly, Annabell Fuller and Clara Manzalini made up the majority of the Gators lineup, each posting a final round score of 74 after recording scorecards 2-over par. They currently sit in a three-way tie for 10th place.
Maisie Filler rounded out the Gators lineup, finishing a stroke above Baggarly, Fuller and Manzalini to finish 3-over par and tied for 13th.
Florida will head into match play against South Carolina tomorrow morning.
