Nine Gator volleyball matches will air on SEC Network or ESPNU in 2016.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Nine University of Florida volleyball matches are scheduled to air live on SEC Network and ESPNU during the span of the 2016 season, announced by the Southeastern Conference office Tuesday.
The Orange and Blue will enjoy their SEC Network debut at Alabama Sept. 25 during the Gators' first weekend of conference play on the road. From there, eight more SEC television matches are slated to be on TV. A total of five home matches and four road matches compose the released television schedule, with four wild-card matches in the queue for the month of November as the regular season winds down.
National coverage for the fall sports of volleyball and soccer has quintupled since SEC Network's launch in 2014. A total of 80 volleyball games will air on the SEC Network and ESPNU this season.
In addition to the released television schedule, all Florida home matches will stream live on SEC Network + via the Watch ESPN app and on WatchESPN.com. Stay posted to Florida's schedule page on FloridaGators.com for the most up-to-date television, radio and streaming information.
The Gators will be playing the 2016 campaign in the Lemerand Athletic Center while the Stephen C. O'Connell Center continues its $64.5 million renovation this season.
